Harriet Elworthy, Founder, Mini Ballers
It is never too early for little ones to be introduced to sport and that is what we do here at Mini Ballers. Through play and games, we offer a range of sporting development activities for both boys and girls, which helps children to improve their co-ordination, movement, balance and strength. Children are also introduced to the concept of listening to and following instructions, whilst learning life skills such as teamwork and friendship. This is all whilst having a tremendous amount of fun. Emphasis is placed on praise and effort at this early age, rather than overall improvement. Children will be encouraged to play openly and freely, as open-ended play encourages social and emotional development.
Research has shown that children who are introduced to sport at an early age go on to develop a more positive attitude towards health and activity and feel more motivated and confident as a result.

“We love our lessons with Harriet. She is such a great teacher who always makes sure the kids have lots of fun while developing their skills. Highly recommended!”.
“My pair have really enjoyed their sessions with Mini Ballers, it’s been great to find something they are both able to participate in (although through differentiated activities). I also love that it’s all varying ball sports and skills rather than just football or just rugby. It’s been great for them to learn a range of skills needed for all sports - coordination, balance although at an age appropriate level! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something active for their little ones but with a bit more structure than just a soft play.”.
